1. The seminar fee includes all materials (binder, study aids) and is inclusive of GST, but not the required texts [D.L. Marston (law) + G. Andrews (practice/ethics)]. Although lunch was once provided to participants, the seminar fee was, at that time, higher. Accordingly, the lower registration fee reflects the fact that participants are responsible for their own lunch arrangements (restaurants/cafes nearby, or brown-bag).
2. Once you have initially provided the required information by email, if space is available, you will be sent a confirming e-mail of a tentative place, and, once payment has been received, your registration will be complete and you will be sent a more comprehensive email (e.g., precise location, parking, pre-seminar reading guide, etc.)
3. If space is not available at the time of your intial email, you will be sent an e-mail asking whether you would like to: (i) attend at another locale; (ii) be placed on a waiting list for the chosen locale; or (iii) attend a future seminar. All candidates who: (a) do not wish to attend another locale, or to be placed on a waiting list; or (b) are not ultimately afforded a place from the waiting list, will be sent a full refund of the registration fee (if it had been sent in advance).
4. Refund policy (registration fee): - 100% (less a $25 administration fee) for cancellations received at least two weeks prior to the scheduled seminar;
- 50% for cancellations received at least one week prior to the scheduled seminar;
- No Refund for cancellations less than one week prior to a seminar, although you are still entitled to: (a) attend a future seminar or (b) have another individual attend in your place (with appropriate authorization from you).
5. Should you cancel with another candidate from the waiting list taking your place, you will receive a full refund less the $25 administration fee.
6. Candidates who cancel and choose to attend a future seminar, and then attempt to cancel that future registration, will only be given a refund of an amount (if at all), within the sole and full discretion of Delta Seminars.
7. Although not anticipated, Delta Seminars reserves the right, in any circumstances (e.g., but not limited to, 'Acts of God'), to cancel a particular seminar. In that event, every effort will be made to contact, as early as possible, all those scheduled to attend. In the event of cancellation, each enrolled participant may choose to: - receive a full refund; or
- receive a 20% refund and attend an alternate or future seminar.
