Why attend a seminar at all?
Candidates have written the PPE longer than supplemental studying resources have been available. People have passed the exam, and will continue to pass, simply through self-study.
If that's true, why consider attending?
A seminar is interactive. Someone instructs you, personally, in real-time. It's inherently more engaging - if you look a bit confused, a different 'route' can immediately be taken to explain the point, and answers are given to your immediate questions.
A seminar offers a limited, focused, definite period of time for preparation. Adding up all the separate hours of self-study alone, a seminar will invariably save you time, and efficiently lead you to a thorough understanding of the material.
It's not about memorizing 100 answers to 100 questions - it's about being able to answer any question that's asked.
If I'm interested in preparation beyond self-study, why would I register with Delta Seminars?
It's simple.
- Through our presenter's 72 past seminars, and instruction at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Engineering (for the past 11 years), we believe we offer the most experience teaching this material.
- Comfortable settings, at professional, downtown conference centres.
- Each seminar is presented by a licensed, experienced and dynamic lawyer/part-time professor.
- Colour-coded, copyrighted learning materials, plus a separate binder of material, including an abridged Professional Engineers Act and Regulations
- Limited enrolment. The seminar set-up is a "U" shape, so each person has a clear view, and a group-dynamic is fostered (it's a seminar, not a lecture) - accordingly, enrollment is limited (generally 35 people for Ottawa and London, and approx. 45 people for Toronto).
- An enjoyable experience - yes, enjoyable.
- Complete review of the two most-recent PPEs.
- Answers to post-seminar questions asked by you, and emailed responses sent to all participants (even those who haven't asked a question themselves).
- If you have to re-write the exam (or just one Part), free, ongoing personalised support and re-attendance, or your initial tuition fees refunded in full.
- All of the foregoing is guaranteed.
